A Special Summer The summer before your children go off to college is a big one. New Beginnings

The end of summer is the start of a whole new chapter for my 18-year-old twins. Luke & Jake are now college freshmen at my alma mater, Cornell University. They are “high above Cayuga’s waters..” enjoying gorges, crisp air and LOTS of walking. I haven’t shed a tear (because we had 30 seconds to say goodbye) and I know they’re in the best place for them. If you’re fearing the “empty nest”, remember you can text, Facetime or Zoom, and every college has a parent chat on Facebook these days to keep you in the loop!
