What is your purpose? What is your brand? Not easy questions to answer, for sure. But it’s so important to delve deep as each phase of life comes along and our priorities change. If you’ve ever wondered what else is out there for you – or whether your career path needs a pivot – one phrase I heard really resonated with me: “Never let fear of the unknown keep you from your destiny.” It will likely be a huge leap of faith, but it might be oh, so worth it!!

Women on Purpose What is your purpose? What is your brand? Is it time to sell your company or step away from the work identity you’ve had for so many decades? How do you do that without losing your sense of self? These are big topics for female CEOs and business executives who’ve been at the top of their game for a long time. UBS hosted 50 powerhouse female leaders at Holman Automotive to come together in a safe space and share thoughts and minds about the “next chapter.” I hope my journey after stepping away from the evening anchor desk inspired these women and gave them confidence in the power of their brand. Hall of Famers Do you recognize any of these faces? They’re definitely superstars, and they all have one thing in common – graduating from Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Now, they are officially inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame!

This year’s incredible inductees include: ELITE Family Office Founder & Pres/COO Roberto R. Muñoz The Children’s Trust CEO James Haj Longest-Tenured NBA Player Udonis Haslem First Female President of Miami Dade College Madeline Pumariega G Financial Group President Gerald C. Grant, Jr. Bilzin Sumberg Managing Partner Al Dotson, Jr. First Black Female U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson (not pictured) What a beautiful night at The Ivy – the Miami estate of Jose + Heide Dans. These Hall of Famers were also celebrated the following night by the “Foundation for New Education Initiatives” at their annual gala. Congratulations to all!
